FUJITSU GENERAL Group Green Procurement

Overview of the Fujitsu General Group's Green Procurement

The Fujitsu General Group, as part of its efforts to manufacture and deliver environmentally friendly products to customers, works with its suppliers to ensure that the materials and products it procures meet environmental requirements.

We have the following two guiding principles that govern our procurement practices:

  • Procure materials and products from suppliers that promote environmental protection
  • Procure materials and products that are environmentally friendly and do not contain harmful substances

We ask our suppliers to refer to and follow the provisions provided in the “Fujitsu Group Green Procurement Standards (Direction and Policy)” and the “Fujitsu General Group's Individual Policy (Specification).”

Request for Chemical Substance Information

The Fujitsu General Group assesses the presence of chemical substances in the materials and products our suppliers provide to us, based on the chemSHERPA scheme that facilitates the sharing of information on chemical substances contained in products.

We ask our suppliers to visit chemSHERPA's website at the following URL to become familiar with the scheme and download a tool for data entry.
